More than 70 cats and kittens were adopted in August 2026, through the Clear the Shelter month-long campaign! We are especially grateful that some long-timers and older cats found new homes!

RENOVATIONS
Phase 7: Renovating the kitchen to improve functionality, as well as continuing to finalize our second sanctuary space for adoptable cats who are more cat oriented at this time. With the option of roaming freely in this room, some of our harder to adopt cats are allowing themselves to be pet and socialized! (as areas of the shelter are still undergoing construction, some rooms are not always accessible.

Connecticut Cat Connection is a 100% volunteer run, non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to the welfare of animals, adopting out 750-1000 cats and kittens each year!
Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered, or impounded. The animals are given medical attention, vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, and spayed or neutered before placement.
We are a small, cat only shelter with a steadfast commitment to help homeless cats find their forever families.
